For Kaydence Day, music has always been more than sound — it’s been a place of comfort.
Raised in South Carolina and classically trained from the age of nine on upright bass and cello, she developed a deep musical foundation that now flows effortlessly into her rich, expressive vocals. Inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, and Michael Jackson, Kaydence blends R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Pop into a sound that feels both nostalgic and uniquely her own.
Her 2020 debut album, The Recliner, introduced listeners to her warm, soothing style — music created with one simple hope: that someone feels a little lighter after listening. Since then, she has continued to grow, from performing across cities to joining the global Sofar Sounds community and taking the stage at major events like Fall for Greenville.
In 2025, she founded Kozi by Kaydence, her crochet merch line named after her most popular song, Cozy. Created as an extension of her artistry, Kozi by Kaydence offers handmade, intentional pieces that are warm, unique, and crafted with care — reflecting the same comfort, emotion, and authenticity found in her music.
